Google making efforts to make Maps free from Fake Business Profiles
Google seems to be all geared up to fight against the menace of fake business profiles on Maps. It is seen to be working on eradication of fake business profiles emerging on Maps.
There seem to be more than 11 million false listings on Maps. The fake business profiles pose as real businesses and charge fee for their services that are actually free of cost.
The most common business areas for scams include that of contractors, repairmen and car towing services.
Since 2017, Google has been working towards removal of fake accounts and have successfully removed many.
