Google Updates its Location History Policy
Google has recently updated its Location History Language after tracking backlash. Just about a couple of days back, Google admitted the fact that it continues to track its users even after disabling the location history tracking.
One of the updates by Google Account Help Page claimed that the setting does not in any way affect other location services enabled on your device. It also added that when we turn off Location History for the respective Google Account, it gets off for all the devices which are associated with that Google Account.
This new update first came to notice to Associated Press. However, Google at first denied this inaccurate reporting and later on it backtracked - "If we fix the language on a Help Page it won't in any way help in addressing the issue of continuous tracking. In order to maintain trust, transparency is one of the key factors."
