Google Suffers another Attack by the U.S. Government

In its recent episode, Google has been accused by the U.S Government on grounds of playing monopolistic practices. 

The move has been initiated by the House of Antitrust Subcommittee, through their 450-page report.  

The platform plays a monopoly through its browser and mobile device default settings tactics. Moreover, it leads to a kind of forceful environment wherein users are compelled to purchase their products and services.  

The competitors are, therefore, left in a lurch. The platform uses various strategies to make sure that it creates a monopolistic environment. A few ways through which Google tries to play monopoly includes:  

- Unfair use of third-party content

- Penalties on competing verticals

- Dumping ads in search results

- Promotion of organic search results with its content
