Chaayos raises $12 Million

Chaayos is all set to raise about $12 million from SAIF partners and others for the purpose of offline expansion. The main purpose of this funding is to double the company's revenues month on month.

Chaayos was founded in the year 2012 by IIT alumni Nitin Saluja and Raghav Verma. Chaayos currently offers more than 25 varieties of tea and it is found in its more than 52 stores across Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Karnal, and also Mumbai.

Tea: Indians Want It Anytime, Anywhere

Some of the major competitors of Chaayos include Chai Point. The others include vendors, cafe chains and also stores serving beverages. Teabox is also said to be one of the competitors of Chaayos. Tea is something which is most loved by Indians. They prefer having it anytime and anywhere. Therefore it can be said that Chaayos has huge potential to grow in India.
