Facebook Owned Apps Suffered Hours Long Worldwide Outages

Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger ran out of action for many users all over the world for a major part of Wednesday. This appears to be the most serious outage in the company's history.

The problem started to appear at around 12 pm when users found out that they were unable to login to Facebook or see the news feed or timeline. Some users could not even post anything. Same thing started happening with Instagram too.

Facebook than took over to Twitter to let the world know that it was aware of the situation which affected its family of apps and was working to sort the same. It also mentioned that the problem has not been caused due to any type of cyber attack.

Users of Facebook seem to vent out their frustration via Twitter.
