We are one of Brisbane's leading digital marketing agencies and we have created an opportunity for an experienced SEO Manager to join our growing team. We need your SEO expertise to assist with our clients' campaign strategies, and as our client portfolio is growing rapidly, we want you to give your all to drive Brisbane's leading brands to NUMBER ONE in Google! 

Responsibilities:
  • Department Profitability - Ensuring that the SEO Department’s revenue continuously outperforms it’s expenses and makes a positive contribution to the company’s profit.
  • Reporting and Communication - Ensuring that we provide accurate and meaningful SEO Reports and campaign feedback on a monthly basis;
  • Product Knowledge & Training - Constantly upskilling in the field of SEO and keeping up-to-date with latest developments as well as keeping the company, team and clients informed of developments;
  • Campaign Strategy - Ensuring that the best possible strategy has been selected for each client’s individual SEO campaign.
  • Software - Ensuring that we are using the best possible software to assist in the delivery of SEO software at all times.
  • Processes - Ensuring that we are constantly improving our SEO process and continuously improving effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Budget Management - Effectively coordinate link-building suppliers and ensuring we get the maximum ROI on our link acquisition spend.
  • Onboarding Management - Ensuring that the onboarding process of all new clients is run smoothly to get the campaign into the offsite phase as quickly as possible.
  • Internal SEO Campaign Success - Ensuring that Bambrick Media’s website continues to improve in its own organic visibility and rates;
  • Leadership, Internal Management and Training - Ensuring that any direct reports have the full support, guidance and training needed to ensure they can carry out their role to the best of their ability. It is the SEO Manager’s responsibility to ensure employee retention and the continuous development of any direct reports under his/her guidance.

The Absolute Essential Criteria for the Right Candidate:
  • A minimum two years experience working in a digital marketing agency or in-house creative setting, with relevant client relations / customer service experience, with exposure to web design, digital marketing and social media experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to the client brief.
  • Ability to generate and explore different creative, imaginative or unique approaches; challenge conventional practices and think outside the box.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism with a sound understanding of appropriate behaviours in the workplace, in self and in others.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, including editing and proofing skills and outstanding attention to detail, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • A desire to learn and adopt new technology, work practices, systems and procedures.
  • Outstanding communication skills;
  • A demonstrated ability at being an avid and active listener, with the proven experience at resolving conflicts and issues with clients, providers, management and staff, in a manner that builds upon positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Have an absolutely positive attitude. We all have bad days and we are all human, but this role calls for you to be always 100% focused on your clients' campaign success.
  • Be agile and flexible in your approach to the rapidly changing digital world and be prepared to go with the flow.

The Desirable Criteria for the Right Candidate:
  • A Bachelor's Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in a directly related field – e.g. marketing, business studies, communications or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to the client brief.
  • Experience working over a diverse range of clients and industries.
  • Experience working across many projects/ campaigns at one time.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
