Rewritten Snapchat Android App is Out Now

Snapchat have rolled out a rewritten version of its Android app. The new version is faster. The rewritten app is now said to be completely rolled out.

The new version is said to be lightweight and better performing. Some of the improvements which can be seen include a better app open time, faster Lens and stories loads, smoother swiping between screens and higher image quality.

The app will now be more intelligent behind the scenes. This will enable the app to figure out what is important to users at any given time based on where they are in the app.
