Microsoft sends out Invites for October 2 Event

Microsoft has sent out invites for an event on October 2nd, where new Surface devices are likely to be launched. The new upgraded models of Surface Pro and Surface Laptop can be expected to be launched. Rumours also suggest that the company could launch a dual-display 'Pocketable' Surface device, code named Andromeda.

The invitation is quite cryptic and does not have much information about the expected launch, however it does have a phrase- "A moment of your time."

The Surface Pro is likely to be launched with newer processors and better battery life as compared to the Surface Pro 5 launched last year. Microsoft can also bring the successor of the Surface Laptop that was also launched in but came to India last month.

Along with Surface notebooks, some speculate that Microsoft could launch a dual display Surface device which would have a foldable construction and two screens. This would be a unique device and would bring a multi screen experience to Windows 10 and is likely to be the public release of the Microsoft's Courier concept.

Microsoft's event would happen after Apple's product launch event and before Google's product launch event. While Apple is expected to launch newer models of iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Apple Watch, Google is expected to launch the new Pixel phones.
