has decided to launch its camera in competition with Instagram
. Twitter had tested the feature for a while and now has rolled out its new integrated camera for both Android and iOS apps.
This camera will allow users a more immediate solution for taking shots or footage and can directly tweet them. If you have already updated, you can swipe left from the main timeline screen in the Twitter app which will land you on a dedicated camera screen.
With the camera, you will be able to take photos, video or live broadcast and can also overlay with text, hashtags or even a location. All users might not have received the update however it is rolling out this feature soon to all the users.
