Twitter to bring in Auto Captions for all video uploads in Tweets

Twitter has decided to add Auto Captions for all the video uploads in tweets. It is set to provide more ways for users to make use of the video content in the app.

Twitter has announced that all videos attached to tweets from today will have auto captions enabled.

Captions will be activated for in-stream videos on both iOS and Android. However, for desktop users they will have to switch them on and off as they choose.

• Twitter’s auto captions are available in 37 languages.

• The captions will appear in the language of the device used to upload the clip.
