Responsibilities: • Create & Execute SEO/SEM roadmap incl. product interventions. • Work with editorial/content teams to drive SEO/SEM in content creation and content programming. • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO/SEM positions for target keywords. • Configure and maintain tools like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster and Google Tag Manager etc. • Understand business problems and define a technical solution to the problem. • Conducting regular competition analysis and recommending the plan of action should master the details of the competitive landscape. • Working closely with Engineering, Research, Quality Assurance Design and Marketing teams to create synergies leading to a high-quality product. • Defining and analyzing product metrics regularly, and use the learning for product innovations and improvements. • Creating product specifications documents and conducting product specification reviews with key stakeholders such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Design & others. • Ensuring timely delivery of projects through proper planning, scheduling, and execution. • End to end management of Google Adword campaigns. Functional Competencies: • Proven excellence in Search Engine Optimization, particularly Google. • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, GTM. • Ability to convert SEO/SEM idea/experiment into a product spec and getting it implemented. • Ability to handle operational issues in product management. • A functional understanding of HTML, CSS & Javascript development. • The ability to work with backend- SEO/SEM- elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills General Competencies: • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and derive consensus. • Ability to work in teams with a diverse background. • High analytical ability. • Strong process orientation. • Strong ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible solutions. • Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and work accordingly.
