TCS to Build a VR Platform for Physical Rehab
TCS has come up with a digital assistive platform known as VHAB. The platform is based on Virtual Reality(VR). The aim behind this launch is to improve the physiotherapy regimen for children with loco motor disabilities due to cerebral palsy or autism.
VHAB will use a mix of emotion sensors, progressive analytics, gesture analysis, finger mapping, and real-time simulation in an immersive VR environment for creating a series of gamified and personalized simulated environment.
One of the advantages of this platform is that it provides a way to measure the progress that the kids are making and allows the therapist to adjust the level accordingly.
