Google Chrome seems to have taken the lead ahead when we talk regarding cybersecurity. In its latest move, Chrome has introduced a feature that will alert users if at all their current passwords have gone for a toss. The process is named as the 'biometric authentication step' and will be implemented before the auto-filling passwords on iOS.
If at all the passwords have been compromised, the users will be then redirected, to the 'change password form' page. With its latest release of Chrome 86, Google has placed due importance on the security of the users.
For Android devices, Google has brought in its Enhanced Safe browsing functionality, which will protect against phishing and malware. Besides, Google is also working towards releasing the Safety check feature for both Android and iOS.
The Safety Check feature will help to check passwords that have been compromised, enabling safe browsing and whether or not your Chrome browser is updated.
