SBI left Banking Data of Millions of Users Unprotected Online
State Bank of India has left banking data of millions of users unprotected on one of their servers and now they have come under the data security scandal for the same.
The reported server mainly stored the data related to their SBI quick service, using which consumers can get basic information about their bank account like balance and mini statements.
This SBI server was however not protected by a password and this in turn increased the risk and provided access to the banking data of million of customers which included their mobile numbers, partial account numbers, account balance, recent transactions and many more.
