Facebook has now claimed that the 'clear history' feature is all set to be ready this year. With these features, users are allowed to see which apps and websites send the network information, deleted the data from their account and also prevent Facebook from storing it.
The feature had been announced many months back and is now all set to be released. This announcement seems to have come shortly after there were revelations that personal data on tens of millions of Facebook users have been hijacked by Cambridge Analytica.
This scandal has led to investigations and has forced Facebook in order to review and revamp how it handles personal user data.
