Facebook to Change Terms and Conditions after EU Pressure
Facebook seems to be changing its terms and conditions after facing pressure from EU. It is all set to modify its terms and conditions to explain how user data can be used to sell targeted advertisements. The new terms of service agreements will reveal details of its business models.
With this new arrangement, Facebook will be required to detail what it sells to third parties, how users can close accounts and also the reasons why an account can only be disabled.
As per the new agreement, users will not be charged for services in exchange for users' agreement to share data and its relation to ads as said by the European Commission.
The new business model will rely on selling advertisements based on user's profile. The new terms are yet unclear and Facebook is said to have time until the end of June to implement the same or risk sanctions.
