Integration Of Facebook Owned Apps is a Threat To Privacy
One of the reasons behind the integration of WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook is related to user privacy. This integration has weakened the privacy of WhatsApp which includes encrypted messages.
The single messaging app is expected to launch next year. The idea behind this is to streamline the messaging capabilities of each app. All the three apps are expected to support end to end encryption.
Zuckerberg adds that the future of communication is all said to shift to private encrypted messages. However this integration will make the privacy issues to increase.
Encryption of messages is basically wherein the messages only the sender and the recipient can read it. One of the defining features of WhatsApp is encryption of messages.
