Many possible candidates have been interviews by Facebook’s vice-president for global marketing solutions David Fischer, like Star India MD Sanjay Gupta, Tata Sky MD Harit Nagpal and Hotstar CEO Ajit Mohan. But, the position still remains vacant.
Facebook's involvement in controversies about user privacy have made many executives to shy away from the company as the senior executives will often have to take responsibility if anything goes wrong.
