Facebook blocks Chinese-Origin Hacker group named 'Evil eye', from allegedly Distributing Malware.

Facebook has taken strict action against a Chinese-originated hacker group for allegedly distributing malware on the platform. The group named 'Evil Eye' is seeking Facebook to infiltrate communities, especially Uyghurs abroad.

The hacking is done through the installation of malware known as Insomnia. As a step towards user safety, the platform has blocked these domains and eventually deleted all the group's accounts.

Such instances pose a big question on how safe our data is on such platforms. Should we continue using them? Or Simply get over it. Though Facebook came up with a quick plan and got rid of these hackers, it still does carry a huge risk of a data breach.
