Google, Facebook and Twitter Form an Alliance to Curb Fake News
The number of fake news is increasing day by day. In order to curb the spread of fake news Google, Facebook and Twitter seem to have joined hands. The three companies will work together to get the spread of the fake news stopped.
The three companies have come together under the Information Trust Alliance. This group will run campaigns across schools, colleges, and other universities. They will also work by conducting workshops.
The government had initially made a rule that social media platforms will have to reveal the true identity of its users in case if the Indian government ever asks them.
These small steps will help in making India a worthwhile place to live in without any risk of fake news getting spread.
