Messenger brings in new Features including Group AR Effects

Messenger is all set to bring in new features that is set to include group AR effects, Soundmoji options and a new option of bill-splitting within group chat threads. Here's a detail about each of the upcoming features on Messenger:

Talking about the new group effects for video calls, these interactive AR features can be applied to multiple people in a video chat. Some of the new features include - a royal crown, a retro recording display and more. Messenger has partnered with multiple high profile influencers from other platforms for this initiative.

The platform has also added a new Taylor Swift Soundmoji set as a tribute to Swift's new album 'Red'. Last but not the least, Messenger is introducing a new test of Split Payments that will allow users to more easily share the cost of bills and expenses.

Currently, the new AR effects and Soundmojis are available to all users, while bill - splitting is being tested in the US from next week.
