Instagram Releases 'Recently Deleted' Folder Enabling Users Recover their Deleted Posts
Instagram is all set to add a new 'Recently Deleted' folder to its platform. The main idea is to enable people to restore their posts that they might have accidentally deleted within 30 days.
Moreover, the platform wants to provide additional time to review and restore deleted content. Additionally, there are times when a user's account might be hacked, and the entire content might get deleted. The recently deleted folder will help restore the deleted content.
However, the feature might not be completely helpful since hackers might go the extra way and empty the recently deleted folder's content. To address this concern, the platform will first identify your identity before proceeding with the deletion of content.
The feature is already rolled out and can be accessed after updating the Instagram app to the latest version. The path to access the Recently Deleted folder is as :
Settings > Account > Recently Deleted
