App-ads.txt Has Finally Made Its Entry

People all over the world are of the opinion that Ad fraud is a huge issue. In response to fighting the menace of ad fraud, the IAB in the year 2017 launched ads.txt directed towards fighting the cases of unauthorized sellers.

Majority of the US and UK sites have now started using ads.txt and there seems to be considerable reduction in the instances of ad fraud. However, ads.txt faced a drawback and therefore an extended standard has been introduced known as app-ads.txt.

It is said that app-ads.txt works in just the similar way like ads.txt. However, app-ads.txt is related to apps and does not involve websites.

App-ads.txt can be used as a protection form fake ads once the publishers are ready to implement the same.
