Google to pay Apple $9 billion in Order to Remain Default Search Engine on Safari
Google is all set to pay Apple a whopping amount of $9 billion in order to continue to remain the default search engine on Safari. As per reports by analyst, the number is all set to grow to about $12 billion in the year 2019.
While in Safari, Google is used as the default search engine on iOS, but Bing is also used by the company at various places including searching the web via Siri.
It is said by Apple that services will continue to be a huge area of growth for the company as it is expected that sales of its hardware starts to peak. Apple Music has also seen a steady growth since the time of its inception in the year 2015.
