JBL enters Indian Ecommerce Sector With an Online Store
International electronics and audio equipment
manufacturer JBL has launched its own online store in India for the purchase of
loudspeakers, headphones and other associated hardware. The company, owned by
Harman International Industries (which is itself a subsidiary of Samsung),
previously only sold its product on e-commerce sites such as Flipkart and
Amazon.
In preparation of the launch, JBL has also released 2 new products for sale
– the JBL Go+ Bluetooth speaker and the JBL T205BT headphones. Sumit Chauhan,
vice president (lifestyle audio) of Harman India, said, “JBL is the most popular
consumer audio brand in India. JBL.com will provide the best price, expedited
shipping and exclusive promotions for our customers.”
The online store will
sell the entire range of JBL products, and will also feature a 4-day sale
starting from the 7th of August, where all JBL products will be
available for half the original price.
