Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi to Step Down after 12 Years
PepsiCo on Monday confirmed that Indra Nooyi is stepping down as CEO of PepsiCo Inc. and President Ramon Laguarta will be filling in on her Position.
Nooyi, 62, will be leaving the role on October 3rd, completing her 24 years – the previous 12 year as CEO – with the organisation and will remain chairman until mid 2019, the organisation said.
Reflecting upon her period at Pepsico, Indra Nooyi took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express her mixed emotion -

Laguarta has been with the PepsiCo for a long time, becoming president in 2017 where he regulated worldwide tasks, corporate procedure, open strategy and government issues. He beforehand filled in as CEO of PepsiCo's Europe Sub-Saharan Africa division and president of the organisation's Eastern Europe division.
“Ramon Laguarta's popular appointment follows a precise and thorough succession process by the Board of Directors. Laguarta equally represents continuity and the necessary coordination for PepsiCo.”
