Google's Index Coverage Report gets New Changes Enabling Better Prediction of Indexing Issues

Google has released four new changes and is likely to hit the Index Coverage Report. The reason for these changes is to enable site owners to be well aware of the indexing issues.

The Index Coverage Report allows site owners to give their feedback to provide their feedback to Google regarding any sort of improvements. The upcoming changes related to the Index Coverage report includes :

- 'Crawl Anomaly' Issue Type Removal
- Pages blocked by robots.txt now labeled as 'indexed but blocked'
- Increased accuracy of Soft 404 Reporting

Moreover, the submission of the URL will be different and not the same as before. Additionally, a new issue named 'indexed without content is said to come in place.
