Snapchat enters into New Deal with Sony Music to expand Sound Options

Snapchat has signed a new deal with Sony Music. The purpose behind this deal is to expand the sound options in the app. With the new deal, users will be able to incorporate more songs in to the Snaps.

Snapchat users can make use of popular tracks into their posts thereby enabling more creative potential. Additionally, Snapchat is also testing new audio formats and tools including Sound Lenses that will have pre-selected song embedded in the Lens.

The new tools by Snapchat has brought in more users to the app and has helped maintain its position being the popular app among young users.
