Snapchat is adding new 'Food Scan' element to provide recipe matches for food items

Snapchat is adding another aspect of its 'Scan Feature' through the addition of 'Food Scan' in partnership with Allrecipes. It will enable snap users to find recipe recommendations by scanning in the ingredients available at any given time.

The new integration will provide recipe recommendations based on the food items you scan in via the Snap camera. Moreover, additional Scan options like ‘Nutrition Scan’ will give further insight into the health considerations of packaged foods for a better and healthy choice.

Snap’s Food Scan will also return food facts from Wikipedia that will help you gain more knowledge while eating.
