Amazon is working towards introducing its new Echo device. It has approximately seven different types of Echo models for various segments of customers.

Following is a low down regarding some unknown facts regarding the Echo device:

1. 1. The Echo made its entry through Lab126. The project started off as a secret mission.
2. 2. Initially, Echo was supposed to be named as 'Flash'.
3. 3. The voice assistant involved behind Alexa is named as Rohit Prasad.
4. 4. Amazon got inspired from Star Trek and hence launched Echo and Alexa.
