Apple, Google, Microsoft and WhatsApp seemed to have come together and signed an open letter. UK intelligence agency, GCHQ's ghost protocol might pose a threat to digital security.
It might make users unaware regarding the fact with whom they are communicating is secure or not. The agency had come with the idea during the last fall on the blog of Lawfare.
The ghost protocol might pose a security threat and the changes are said to affect all the targets. The letter contains more than 50 signatories in all.
