Google Maps will now be equipped with a new 'Trips' tab that will highlight the past vacation experiences by users

Google has now updated its Google Maps service with a new ‘Trips’ Tab. The tab will include details about the customer’s past vacation spots and additionally with the number of kilometres that were travelled.

Trips Tab will provide a complete overview to the customers regarding the previous holidays, details about the locations you may have visited, total kilometres travelled, and the modes of transportation which might have been used.

It will also provide users with the option to delete the Location History if they wish to do so. As of now, the ‘Trips’ tab will be available in case of Android devices.

Google has also released a new COVID-19 layer that will focus on providing customers with details about the virus instances in a particular place.
