Google to Bid Goodbye to Allo

Google is all set to big goodbye to Allo as it has planned to announce to shut down its messaging service. It chat app Allo will is all set to say goodbye by the middle of the next year.

Allo was announced in the year 2016 however it failed to create a significant impact in order to compete with rival services like Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp. It will be operational till March 2019.

Apart from Allo, Google also has Hangouts and enterprise-grade apps Hangouts Chat and Meet as its other messaging platforms. Google has also made some other announcements. It is all set to add new features to Duo.

Duo is Google's video calling app which was initially launched in the month of August 2016. This is the company's highest-rated mobile apps and it continues to see strong growth and engagement across both Android and iOS.
