Google to Officially Stop the Working of its Trusted Contacts App

Google will say goodbye to the Trusted Contacts App, starting from the 1st of December,2020. Trusted Contacts App represents the emergency location sharing app, allowing users to share their location information with people.

Google adds that they should use the option of ‘Location Sharing’ on Google Maps instead. It has further allowed users time till the 1st of December 2020 to download the trusted contacts from the page before the app stops working.

Trusted Contacts App has proved very helpful since it allowed users to share information with their family or friends.

Apart from the above move, Google has introduced Google chats in place of Google Hangouts. Google Chat might officially roll out from the next year.
