Microsoft Introduces New Cloud Based SQL Server

Microsoft has come up with new SQL Server options. The new SQL Database service will be based on Azure cloud platform.

Azure SQL Database is said to have additional features. The three options available to customers include Azure SQL Database Managed instance, Azure SQL Database Hyperscale and SQL Server Azure Virtual Machines.

This is said to be available for a preview soon however there is no confirmation regarding when it will be launched.
