Unfair Treatment by Indian Government to Whatsapp Payment Services
Whatsapp claims that its payment services are getting unfair treatment in India. Whatsapp thinks that Google and other payment services are getting an unfair advantage over them.
Whatsapp currently has about 1.5 billion people using its app and with about 200 million active monthly users in India is said to be one of the largest user markets.
The government has shown WhatsApp the red signal after various incidents of fake news were found to be circulated in through various Whatsapp groups. Government officials feel that WhatsApp should be more strict when it comes to its compliance with Indian laws.
