YouTube has Disabled Comments on Videos of Minors

YouTube has disabled comments on videos of minor with a view to improve child safety. Also it has decided to introduce a comments classifier. The comments classifier will enable to identify and remove 2x more predatory comments.

These features are aimed to make it safe for children and also curb the menace  of inappropriate comments and time stamps by malicious users. YouTube seems to have disabled around tens of millions videos which could be subject to predatory behavior.

It has also decided to broaden this action by identifying and suspending comments on similar at-risk videos which are vulnerable to abuse. YouTube has also decided to take action against creators of publishing content that endangers minors and encourages harmful challenges that target any audience.
