YouTube has taken an aggressive action after a video was seen accusing the platform of aiding pedophiles in finding clips of young girls. A video creator Matt Watson raised concerns initially.
Apart form highlighting this fact, Watson also claimed how some users left comments that noted the specific times in which the children were seen in "compromising positions".
As of now, the company has reviewed and removed around thousands of inappropriate comments, terminated over 400 channels and also removed dozens of videos during the past 48 hours. The company has also reported illegal comments to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children so that the organization could work with the appropriate authorities.
