WordPress Launches its own Website Development Service 'Built'

Recently, WordPress has come up with its new website development service known as 'Built'. This marks the entry of WordPress, in the domain of web development, and makes its way move beyond plugins and hosting.

WordPress has made an official announcement stating that Built will help in the designing of your website whether you need it for professional services or for as an educational website.

The new Built service offers three plans depending upon three types of sites :

- Online Stores
- Educational Sites
- Professional Services

For the building process, an 'engagement manager' has been dedicated to the website building project. The starting cost of the website is around $4900. WordPress has stated that the purpose of 'Built' is to give some kind of competition to companies, including Squarespace.

The Web development community, however, was not against the decision taken by WordPress. WordPress is not in direct competition with the community, however, with other similar companies including Wix.
