Google Apps might not Work on New Huawei Devices
It seems that Google apps do not seem to be working on Huawei device. Google has decided to not work with the company since the time the US government decided to place Huawei on its Entity List.
However, Google might work on the older Huawei devices that were made available to the public before the ban on 16th of May 2019. But the newer Huawei devices will not inlcude Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Google Play Store and others.
Google also warns against sideloading of its apps.
