Google's New Page Experience update set to apply on Desktop Search Results Too

Google is working to welcome its new Page Experience update applicable for both desktop and mobile search results. Earlier, the page experience update was likely to impact only mobile searches, but it will now apply to desktop search results as well.

During a session for the Page Experience update from Google I/O on Tuesday, the update was announced. The announcement of the page experience update last year was said to be limited to mobile search rankings.

However, currently, the plan seems to be taking a turn towards desktop search results. The mobile update for page experience will come out in June. But the desktop update release date seems unknown.

Also, before the update goes live, Google will provide further documentation and guidance.
